5th Day of Christmas hearts and trees...

Love this one and the colours that I chose, in my opinion make a really classy looking but contemporary card.
Obviously the papers and colours that you choose are totally interchangeable so it could be cute or traditional too.

This is how the card turned out:

I use the font baby Lexi that I downloaded from dafont, and although its not officially a single line font at the size that it is drawn at, it comes out as single line. font available here: just bear in mind that it is a free for personal use font only and therefore should not be used in projects that are intended for sale.  There are plenty of completely copyright free fonts on that site that you could swap out for if you intend to sell your cards.

You can find the instructional video here on how to create the file

You can also download the file for free in FCM format here and SVG format here

As always please do not sell my cutting file as an individual file or bundled but please tell your crafty friends where they can download these files for free.

Thanks for your continued support and I will see for the 6th day coming up soon, take care of yourselves and happy crafting love Beverleigh 10 xx

4 th day of Christmas - shake, rattle and roll

Hi guys I'm still struggling with this sore throat but decided to bring you the 4th day of Christmas anyway.
This makes  interactive shaker card, this always gives the wow factor and makes sure that your card will be displayed in a prominent place as part of the recipients decorations.
I had a lot of fun making this card and I'm sure that you will too and moreover its really easy to achieve.

This is how my version of the card came out:

I decide in this case I was going to stamp my greeting as I had a new stamp set that I was dying to try out, but the greeting included with the files would work out just as well.  I decided to go with quite traditional colours this time, I think this would look great in the "Frozen" colour palette too.
In the video I show you how to make a slightly different tree, so that you have options and have included both files in the download.
This is how the alternate tree looks - I haven't made an actual sample but it should work in exactly the same way.  I also decide to add a faux stitched detail too.
I hope that you will have a go at this for yourselves if you do want to give it a try you can watch the video over on my You Tube channel here:

Alternatively, if you would like to download and use the file in you projects you can find the file in FCM format here and SVG format here:

As always please do not sell my files individually or as a bundle but please feel free to download and use them in you projects.

Happy Sunday crafting and I look forward to blogging the 5th day soon, love from Beverleigh 10 xxx

3rd day of Christmas - Let it Snow

This has made a fun and elegant Christmas card that is great for batch making.
I challenged myself this year that I would try to make two of each and then make tags out of the left over materials.  I created the elements in Canvas workspace and then created the cards on my scan n cut.  I utilised the drawing function for the sentiment and the snowflake and to me it looks like a hand stamped image.

This is how the card turned out:

If you would be interested in learning to create the file for yourselves then head over to my You Tube channel where I have a video showing you how.
Alternatively, if you would like to use the file then you can get the FCM file here and the SVG file here.
This year I am loving adding the bakers twin for a nice twist.
I hope that you will enjoy using the file and that you will continue to support Bothe my channel and my blog.
As always please do not sell my files individually or as a collection but feel free to make as many projects as you wish.
Thanks to you all and happy Sunday crafting to you all,  love from Beverleigh 10 xxx

As alway the file can be downloaded free of charge in FCM format here and SVG format here.

If you would like to create the file yourself then here in the link to try for yourself on my  You Tube channel here.

As always please do not sell my files but please feel free to download them and use them in your projects.  I would appreciate it if you would consider following my blog and also telling your friends where to find me.

Family Tree

This is the family tree file that I showed in the Facebook groups that I am a member of.  I made the file into a a box frame as shown in the picture below.
I used some pebbles that I purchased from Wilko  link a Ribba box frame link  that I purchased from Ikea and some bark that I retrieved from a log that we have for the stove.

If you would like to create your own project here is the link to the file that I have made freely available in FCM and SVG format.

I have left the words editable so you can just switch them out as needed.

Hickory hickory dock ----

Well I have just finished designing the card that I am going to be making for my great nephew Gene who's birthday is in November, it occurred to me that you might want to use the file for other little ones birthdays.
I made the file from basic shapes in the Canvas workspace program and I would be more than happy to make a video to show you how I put it together if there is interest in it.
This is how the file came out:

I think that the file turned out great if you would like the freebie you can download the file for free here in FCM format and here in SVG format.
If you like my files may I take this opportunity to ask you to follow my blog and subscribe to my You Tube Channel.  Using the text tool for the clock face was a challenge but now that I've worked it out, it looks great, in my opinion lol.  The little mouse is also made from scratch by manipulating the basic shapes and making a cut file that then draws on all the detail.
If you look through older posts you will see that I have quite a collection of freebies now.
Thanks for your continued support and happy crafting love Beverleigh10 xx

Little girls believe in unicorns ....

I was just playing around with some ideas for a birthday card for my little niece.  This unicorn trend does not seem to be dissipating so I decided to go down this road lol.
This is how the file turned out, it includes a base card matting layer and separate paper piece items, the grey part below is perfectly sized to make an insert if you feel inclined.

Whats a unicorn without a rainbow, I hear you cry!!  Just to give you options for your cards I have included a rainbow and a couple of clouds so you could use the head only and make a regular shape card. As a special bonus I have a unicorn silhouette for you too.

I hope that you enjoy this freebie and as a thank you could I encourage you to follow my blog, although there certainly is no necessity for you to do so. your can download the files here in FCM format and here in SVG format
I think the files came out great and the little girls in your life will love them.
If you are interested in knowing how to make the file please leave comments below.

Waterfall card mechanism

By popular demand, I previewed the file on several Facebook groups of which I am a member to see if the file would be popular, the feedback indicated that there were lots of crafters interested in either creating the file or downloading it.
This is the card that I made using the file:

The file can be downloaded in FCM format here and SVG format here either of these will work on the scan and cut but if you have a cutter that can read SVG files then obviously that is the file that you need to download.
If you would like to watch the You Tube video on how to create the file then you will find the video here.
As always please do not sell my files but download them and tell your friends where they can find them.
Please leave comments below, I enjoy hearing from you.  Happy crafting love Beverleigh 10 xx

Geometric hexgons to die for !!!!

In my latest You Tube video I take you through the process of making a geo hexagon type "die".  Clearly this is for the scan n cut and is not an actual die.
I have noticed that these geometric back drops are particular;y on trend at the moment, this is what the files looks like:

This is the card that I made using the files that I created:

I have made this card as a thank you to the nurses who have looked after me since I had my operation in July.
If you would like to learn how to make the file then head over to my You Tube channel where I take you through the process step by step.

As always you can download the file for free in FCM format and SVG format.
Please do not sell my files but feel free to make whatever you wish, direct your friends here so that they can download them too.

Light up it's Christmas!!!

Hi crafty friends this is a little bit different for me in that I didn't use the scan n cut at all to make this card.
What I did do was create a card that has a light up element in it.  I use a most effective way to do this as I think that the Chibitronics are very expensive as are the tattered lace bright lights.
I will link to the supplies I used so you will know what you need to get if you felt like giving this a try!

In the video below you can see the card lighting up:

I think that these cards are loads of fun!!
The supplies you need can create 20 cards for less than £9 hese are the link to the circuit supplies needed:

LED  for 100

Batteries for 20

Copper tape  1 30m roll

You will have plenty of LEDs and copper tape left so you would just need more batteries if you want to make more.

As you can see Chibitronics only give you enough to make one project, or £10.

Unfortunately, at this time I cannot find any Bright Heart lights for sale.

If you want to follow along then check out my You Tube tutorial here

Inside outside faux stitched frames and matting layers

Hi all just a quick video for you on how to create faux stitched inside and outside matting layers and frames.

This is the card that I made used the file that I created:

I use the frames to create the concentric circle look and then some of the matting layers as interesting shapes around my design.  I continued with the circle theme of the card and used the waste to mask off a circle then used oxide inks to to blend and added a bokeh type effect before sticking a matting layer with stamped greeting.
The stamp is part of the Santoro Gorjuss range and the stamps for the greetings are by Stamps By Me a UK company.
The vide showing the technique of how to make the file can be found here:  as always the file can be downloaded here in FCM format and here in SVG format
The technique can be replicated with practically any shape so the process itself is invaluable.
As always feel free to download and create with the file but please do not sell the files individually or as part of a set.  I would appreciate your comments below and please feel free to follow my blog.  incidentally if you do head over to You Tube to watch the video then please like, share and subscribe.
Thanks for tuning in and Happy Crafting love from B10. xx

Porthole underwater scene (seems holes are the order of the day)!!

Hi guys I've missed you all so much whilst recovering from my emergency surgery on Sunday 7th July 2019, to remove two rather large and nasty abscesses, thank goodness for the NHS, You can feel that they are stretched to the limit but the care I have received before and after has been outstanding.  I am still having my dressings changed daily and this will continue for several weeks as the wounds have to heal from the inside out, people that are squeamish please scroll on by right now.  Have included the picture of one of my wounds as this is also my family diary of significant events. LOL Ouch ouch xx

I had a lot of fun with this one.  I used my brand new distress oxide inks (I don't have them all yet!) and I managed to resist the temptation to buy them but I caved in and WOWEO I adore them, they are even easier to blend than the original distress oxides.  Blending has never been so easy, oxide ink coupled with toothbrush style makeup brushes (very similar to the 'life changing brushes'), I'm ashamed to say that I have used this type of brush to apply my makeup for a couple of years and never thought of using them to blend ink - until I saw the Picket Fence brushes.  I really did not want to spend so much on blending brushes, so a used one of my make-up brushes just to check it out and the rest is history.  I ordered another couple of sets of brushes cost me about £10 for both sets on Amazon (though the package arrived from China so took a couple of weeks to get here), just to make you aware if you were thinking of ordering any brushes. You can find them on Amazon here  this is what they look like:

I didn't think I would use the really small ones but they are great at getting into the nooks and crannies, when using stencils.
I then stamped and cut out my images (using my Scan n Cut, obviously) and got on with creating the scene.
What do you think?  I love it! (I will blow my own horn now and again LOL)

This is how the porthole file came out with the added extras:

I can see me using this for many of the men and little men in my life.  I'm thinking a lighthouse scene for my husband, as when we stay up at Roker (the coast in Sunderland) which is close to where my son lives in Washington, we stay in a lovely little B&B called "The Chaise"(canine friendly) and the sea view rooms overlook the lighthouse, my Hubby often takes our little Bella for a walk to the lighthouse before breakfast.

I hope that you will give it a try at making the file for yourself, as it really is a simple file to create and the skills you will learn will set you up for your own projects you can find a link to the You Tube video here.  However, as always for those of us who don't always have the time of course you can download the file for free here in FCM format and here in SVG format
I look forward to reading your comments.
As always please do not sell my files, individually or as a bundle but feel free to download them and make them into your own projects and recommend me to your friends, if you find my files and videos useful.
Many thanks and happy crafting love Beverleigh 10 xx

Magic slider surprise card ...

Suitable for many occasions when you resort to cash, vouchers or gift card for a present.
You could choose your decoration to suit the theme of the voucher or for the recipient.
I have added a dog to the front of mine as we are a family of dog lovers, so this card could be used as a birthday card for many of them.
This is how the card came out:

I think its really novel way to present a monetary gift and very easy to put together.
You can download the file for free in SVG format here and in FCM format here
If you would like to learn how to create your own file then head over to my You Tube channel here
As always please do not sell my files individually or as a bundle but download them and make projects also remember to direct your friends over to my blog to download their files too.
