I have been having a very difficult time these past few months - my own health wasn't great before Christmas as I got a very bad throat infection, which wiped me out and I just felt completely exhausted after Christmas so I decided to take a break.
Slowly but surely I felt able to take up where I left off and dis a poll on Facebook regarding a new project that I had been working on for the two new babies we were expecting in March.
It was a very exciting time for the family as we were looking forward to the birth of our grandson and our great nephew, having said that due to my beautiful sister being taken from us by breast cancer in 2002 my nephew is more than a nephew, if you know what I mean.
Both ladies went into labour on the same day and we welcomed our great nephew Billy Jaxon Slattery into the world on the 10th of March.
Unfortunately, he had severe breathing difficulties when he was born and had to go straight to NICU, he looked perfect and we were struggling with the fact that he was so poorly.
They gave him IV antibiotics immediately as they suspected sepsis, then they did a lumbar puncture to check for Neo-natal meningitis as he wasn't responding to the antibiotics.
Thank goodness he started to respond and his lumbar puncture came back clear but he had to do a couple of days under the light, due to being a bit jaundiced.
Shortly, after that he was able to come home:
In the meantime 120 miles away in Newcastle our grandson Theo Alfie Haworth was born o the 11th March, weighing a whopping 9lb 2 oz.
Unfortunately his mam had a infection at birth so Theo was also given IV antibiotics as a precaution.
We went up to see him on the 14th March, he is lush:
His poor little face was grazed and bruised do to the forceps but other that that he is just perfect.
Rebecca wasn't doing to good though she had scans that show that her heart was enlarged and was suffering from moderate heart failure.
Fortunately, she rallied round sufficiently and they were able to be discharged later that week, though she will need to see a specialist to receive treatment at a later date.
Theo with our other grandson Jack.
very alert little man.
We came back the same day as it was Steves mums 80the birthday of the 15th March and she took us all out for a meal.

(claim to fame, it used to be where William Roache (Ken Barlow used to live) when he resided in Rossendale)
I was back teaching on Monday 16th March and we were getting more and more concerned about CVID19 on Tuesday night early hours Wednesday Morning I was running a temperature and had a sore throat. So I had to stay home and self isolate. All the schools subsequently closed their doors on Friday and we have just had the first week of teaching the students online, which so far is going okay. IOjust could not face going on the computer again after being online all day hence the delay making and uploading the video. I am much better but my husband has been poorly, though he is on the mend. We aren't sure whether its just a seasonal illness or CVID 19??
I will try my best to keep you occupied with my videos over the next few weeks though it might be more likely at the weekend rather than through the week.
I have made the file available for you here in FCM and SVG format, as always with my files please do not sell them as individual files or as a bundle but please direct your crafty friends where to find my You Tube Channel and my blog.
Thinking of you all and wishing you all good health. Have an amazing and productive day love from Beverleigh 10 xx
