Peekaboo assembly
I have uploaded the video on how to put the peekaboo card together to my You Tube channel, which you can find here.
I'm sorry that the card goes off camera a bit fast times. I was setting the camera up on my own so couldn't really see it clearly. I have hopefully sorted that out for subsequent videos
I hope that you enjoy making the card, remember the files are available to download free on the previous post.

Peekaboo card
Hi my crafty friends I have been working on this file for you all today.
Its nothing new and indeed can be achieved with a paper trimmer and a scoring board, but the wind part is hard to line up and get everything to work perfectly.
A friend of mine recently reminded me of this card without the aid of a Scan n Cut, this is when o decide there had to be and easier way.
Once you have mastered the technique you can make the file any size and with any style of aperture that you choose.
Here is what the card look like from the front:

Top down letters -
Hi lovely crafters and I have just completed another how to video for you on my channel.
This is similar to the word book file but instead of going across it goes down.
I had a lot of fun playing with this idea.
I got my inspiration from the dies from Crafters Companion, these are for use in die cutting machines and I do own their Gemini Junior and it is a fantastic cutting machine.
I have also just ordered the foiling platform for it too, I will review this on my You Tube channel once it arrives and I have chance to play. So for people who do not own electronic cutters but love their dies you can find the for sale here:
For us lucky people that love their cutting machine this is how the file turned out:

Once you have the basic end file then you can create any word that you choose using any alphabet and change the font to your hearts content.
You can download a free copy of the file in FCM format here: and in SVG format here:

It's been too long - word book
Hi Guys,
Sorry not been around for a while but Ive had that awful fluey cold and then we were up own the North East visiting my son and his family and they are coming here today so I'm trying to get this done before they arrive.
We had a lovely time up in Tyneside and we also looked at a couple of properties up there, as we are planning to move there as soon as we sell our home!
I have been working on a video to show you how to make a word book, so that you can follow the steps to create your own personalised books and projects.
This is how the file turned out:

Lesson 13- Beautiful you
In this lesson you will be shown how to locate a file for tracing and then how to trace in Canvas. Then the shape will be effectively "punched out" of the base card. I then show you how to locate a script font and how to use it in canvas and how to weld the words to the aperture.
It creates an unusual card and once you how learned the technique, you can repeat this with any shape you desire in the aperture.
This is how the file came out:
You can watch the video of the files creation here:
The file is available to download in SVG here: format and FCM here: format
Please do not sell my files as individuals or packaged as I offer them to crafters freely, please direct your friends over to my blog to download it for themselves.
It would help if you followed my blog to as this will help me reach more crafters worldwide.

Fuchsia update WRMK quilling tool
I have completed the fuchsia file on my SNC with the WRMK foil quill and it did an amazing job. I then watercoloured the image and made it into a birthday card for my mother-in-law.
The picture doesn't quite show off the foiling at its best but you can catch it on my You channel here: click.
If you would like to get an idea how to create the faux foiled matting layer on the card then check out this lesson here: click.
Enjoy love from Beverleigh 10 xx
