Family members watching you from heaven

These are the people that would have loved to be around to meet you.  I truly believe that they will be watching over you.  Your Great Nana, Great Grandad and Great Auntie Cheryl mean the world to me and I would like you to have pictures of them, so that you will have a record of what they looked like.
We talk about them all the time, so hopefully as you grow up, you will feel that you know them on some level.

The First Time I Saw Your Face

I coukdn't wait a minute longer to see you, so as soon as I finished work  Friday the 16th Sept.  I jumped in the car and drove up to Washington to give you a cuddle.  The look on my face says it all, truly the smitten kitten.

Suddenly you were

Newly born and delicious, weighing in at a whopping 8lb 1oz on the 15th September 2011 at 02.18 hours in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead.  You took everyone by surprise, even the midwife, because once you decided to come, you came in a hurry.
Your Daddy and Nana where there, and your Daddy was even brave enough to cut the cord!!
Your Daddy telephoned me and I hardly slept a wink after that.  Me and Auntie Helen were chatting on the phone for about an hour in the middle of the night, as of course I had to let everyone know that you were here, I couldn't possibly wait til the morning!  Looking at your picture, it was love at first sight. xx

Time to begin!

I was recently made a grandmother and decided that I would like to keep a record of our families life, for him to read when he's older. I am making a scrapbook for him too and intend to post pictures on here from time to time.
For Jack, you light up my life on so many levels and given me a spring in my step, thank you.
Your mammy Becca and daddy Andrew made my birthday complete this week, they drove 3 hours out of the blue, so I could spend some time with you on my birthday. I'd been desperately missing you and I had just had the most dreadful day at work, at the hands of an abusive student, but a cuddle from you soon put a smile on my face. Thanks again Becca and Andrew xx
